Former Bellingham restaurant and jewelry store owner, Jimmy Nguyen set about designing a spa featuring the best of everything for his clients. Clean, “green” and relaxed was his goal in creating Jimmy’s Personal Care, featuring premium, natural skin care products, an advanced ventilation system, and self-sanitizing ozone purified pedicure thrones. Leather couches, spacious windows and even espresso for patrons, result in a superior spa/nail salon, though the price is mid-range and affordable.
Jimmy, whose family moved to Bellingham from Vietnam when he was just 14, focused on customer service after graduating from Bellingham High School. His restaurant, Jimmy’s House of Orient, was 12 years-old when he sold it to find more time to create Jimmy’s Personal Care. He also started the D & G Fine Jewelry Store. The spa was 3 years in creation. Customer happiness is his passion. He went back to Vietnam and attended extensive spa training, so he could offer his clients an amazing experience.
In addition to the extra clean foot spas, the salon offers vegan and eco-friendly SpaRitual nail products and Arbonne botanical skin care. Services include manicures, pedicures, Asian-style hot stone foot massage, micro-dermabrasion and facials, and waxing. A Men’s Grooming special includes cutting and buffing finger nails, and facial hair trims.
Jimmy’s is available for private spa parties, and is great for office celebrations, bridal showers, or girl’s getaway evenings.
